From Concept to Reality: ITDS’s Expertise in Financial Integration

Challenges

An international provider of consumer credit services aimed to establish a new entity in the Spanish market, offering a full spectrum of financial products, including vehicle and household appliance financing, as well as personal loans. The project required smooth integration of the core banking system with external systems to enable client identification, AML profiling, and financial reporting.

The main challenges included:

  • Developing a fully operational financial institution from scratch within a tight timeline.
  • Ensuring integration between the core system and external applications.
  • Bridging the gap between business expectations and technical implementation
  • Collaborating effectively across international teams with diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.

Solution

To tackle these challenges, ITDS assumed the role of Product Owner for the core banking system and assembled a specialized team of five experts skilled in software integration, full-stack development, Oracle technologies, SME business analysis, and delivery management. Key steps included:
